Bibbidi Bobbodi Boutique Day 2
Once we had started planning our trip for the Disney Dream I KNEW without a doubt that these girls would want to pay a visit to the Bibbidi Bobbodi Boutique. They love all things fancy...and the more bling the better.
Once they were in the chair their "fairy Godmothers" did a great job talking to them and entertaining them. They let them pick the hairstyle that they wanted and let them make make-up choices. It was funny because Hattie kept trying to turn around to take a sneak peek in the mirror and she kept getting busted. When they were done, it was fun to see their expressions. They had a wonderful time, and loved that they got to match their cousins, Natalie and Joanna. Definitely worth it!
Disney Dream Day 2
Day 2 was quite a day. Bright and early we had tickets to meet Anna and Elsa. It was so fun to see little Jo so excited to meet princesses. It made Gigi cry. After that we were able to score some tickets for the Princess meet and greet. YAY! Rapunzel and Belle are favorites in this house, so were were super happy to see them. And Tiana...she was breathtaking!!!
After all the princess excitement we decided to check out Nassau. Once again, getting off the boat was piece of cake. Nassua was what you would expect, and super HOT...because August. We didn't spend too much time at port. We walked around for maybe an hour. The girls picked out a souvenir necklace and we got back on the boat just in time for lunch.
After lunch we hit up a jedi training, princess and pirate dance party and even played a music trivia game (Bug was awesome). Leah and Macy played Wheel of Fortune while the rest of us get dinner ready. That night we had French cuisine at the Royal Palace. Leah and Hattie tried escargot...it was good. And after dinner we went to a Broadway quality production of Beauty and the Beast. After the show we did some pictures. My favorite of Gigi with all her grand-daughters and had to get more free ice cream!
Disney Dream Day 1
Well the day came...the day we had been waiting for, for at least a year. I thought we would be thoroughly exhausated from our time at Universal but we were just so excited it didn't matter. We made it to Cape Canaveral around 10:00. The lines were moving quickly and we were checked in and ready to board by 11:00...we kept looking for Laura's family and Gigi and Papa. There was a slight bump in the road, which led to Papa being escorted away by security, but thats a story for another day. Always an adventure. By Noon we were on the Disney Dream. We found the kids club. Walked around for a bit and then found a spot to have lunch. We started at the Enchanted Garden. Leah had Gumbo, I had a fantastic salad, and Hattie got Minnie Mouse ears. Before we had even finished the meal, Papa had been allowed to board the boat, with the captains permission...and he joined us for dessert.
We spent the afternoon getting unpacked, and participating in safety drills, the cast off party...Bug was front and center on the dance floor, and then had a wonderful evening. Dinner that night was at the Enchanted Garden where we met our wait staff Thomas and Adanna, who were fantastic! We enjoyed meeting some characters, some time in the kids club and free ice cream!!!
