Throwback Thursday: 1st Pumpkin Patch
For Leah's First Fall, the weather in New Jersey was gorgeous. In addition to it being her first Fall, it was our first Fall living out East. We moved there in December, so it was our first chance to witness the beautiful fall foliage. And the word beautiful doesn't even do it justice. God worked up a masterpiece with his paintbrush. I loved all the beautiful red's, gold's and shades or orange that adorned the trees. While Mitch worked in New Brunswick, we lived in a more "rural" are, East Windsor. And not far from our home was Windsor Farms. Every Fall they had a Fall Festival and so we went to check it out. It was lots of fun! They had hay rack rides out to the pumpkin patch, lots of craft tents, good food and a live band. I know that Leah enjoyed the day just as much as we did. This picture of her with the puckered lips became a favorite in no time. It still makes me smile.
