Good friends are hard to come by...and even more difficult to say Goodbye to. Last month after school I ended we said goodbye to some super great friends! Unfortunately, this is just the reality of where we live. Families are moving in and out all the time with ADM and Caterpillar. We sent them off in style. We had lunch at El Corral, played at Fletcher Park and finished the day with ice cream from Krekels. We’ve said all along “it’s not goodbye, it’s see you later!”
So in the meantime they’ve been texting and FaceTiming (when we aren’t grounded from the iPad) and it made Leah’s day to get a package filled to the brim with gum from her friends. I hope she always treasures her friendships and keeps making sweet friends. Best of luck in Dunlap, Alex and Shelby!
