Easter Eggs

Everything just feels off right now. And I know we aren't the only ones. We're doing our part by staying home. But its Holy Week, Sunday is Easter. I can't remember the last time we spent Easter home alone. Last year we were in Arizona and for a few years in a row before that we were in Minnesota. This year it will be the 5 of us, in our house, watching church on a screen and more than likely singing hymns in our Jammies. Jesus doesn't mind...I'm sure of it.
One tradition that we'll be sad to miss is dying eggs. I don't have extra eggs and certainly don't have an egg dying kit laying around. Its not a necessity and we're thankful to be safe at home during this pandemic. So we came up with another plan. Remember shrinky-dinks??? We decorated some extra special eggs and then enjoyed watching them shape up in the oven. Its definitely not the same but thats not a bad thing. They're all smiles and we'll always remember our Covid-19 Easter Eggs...They won't go bad, LOL!
