Ringing in the New Year in style!

They say it takes a village, and right now we are so grateful for ours. Our friends and neighbors didn't skip a beat asking how they could help while we were occupied with Hattie in the hospital. And New Years is hard. So thankful to the Short's for taking Leah and Kiersten in, and including them in their celebration!

Thankfully they were planning an evening at home...but lucky for the girls it included Fondue, Shirley Temples, beads, noisemakers and all the works! Kiersten got to play Battleship with Everett and Suzanne sent me videos of them counting down the ball drop...at midnight Eastern Time AND Central. So grateful for them loving our tribe.
