The Arch-Round 2

We knew when we planned to go to the Arch that it would be best to go on a weekday, so Friday it was. We planned things pretty well, and only had to wait in line a short time when we got there. It was HOT!!! But the line moved quickly. Once we got inside we got our tickets to go up and checked out some of the inside attractions. The girls had fun sitting in one of the capsules used to take people up...the announcer said to get to the top by foot you have to climb 1096 stairs...no thanks! Leah was so excited. She thought it was going to be like a rollercoaster. We tried to explain the difference, but she didn't really get it. Once through the ropes we saw a few historical artifacts and read and saw things about early St. Louis. There was even a short film before we entered in our "Capsule" to go up. Up on top proved to be an interesting experience...
