And no, I don't mean twitter. Back in November, Kiersten came home from school with a homemade pine cone bird feeder. Since then we have been covering it with peanut butter and oatmeal so we can continue to feed the birds. It gets a lot of attention. On this particular morning the girls were all looking out the window when Mitch got home from a run. He is a self proclaimed bird lover. At one time, he wanted to become an ornithologist, which is a bird expert. I know, right?!?! So they sat and watched for some time...They saw a few Robins, and a Cardinal that Mitch says was the fattest Cardinal he'd ever seen. Since this day, we went and bought an actual bird feeder and some bird seed. It's the most happening place in our yard!
