So every summer we take the girls to one game. This year, we took them on Sunday July 5th. We figured all of our friends would be busy with fourth of July activities and travel, it seemed like the best time to take them. They played the San Diego Padres. I don't remember the score, but I do know that the Cardinals won! Leah is standing here and she says the score was 3-1, ha! I know there was a homerun, I think it was Mark Reynolds. The girls love to see the fireworks. Even if it is the middle of the afternoon. It was a hot one...like super hot, and you couldn't drink enough water hot, but we survived. We had a great time, and I look forward to taking the girls back to Busch Stadium for years to come!
