The girls desperately needed eye exams. And Hattie has to have one for Kindergarten, so now seemed as good a time as any. Leah hadn't had her eyes checked sine her kindergarten exam when she was 4!!! And I was sure to talk to the doctor about Kiersten's bike accident, because she still had a bit of a shiner three and a half months later!
Hattie was super nervous and wanted to know what was going to happen. So thankful for YouTube because we were able to find some videos so she could watch and was totally prepared and knew what to expect. Kiersten and Hattie's eyes checked out just fine. Leah's were not quite perfect. It seems she's a little near sighted and has inherited her dad's astigmatism. No glasses...yet! but if she starts getting headaches while reading we will know its time. And with our whole family wearing glasses...it's just a matter of time!
