Father-Daughter Dance 2018

This weekend was the annual Father-Daughter Dance sponsored by the Mt. Zion Community Club and this years theme was Hollywood Red Carpet. These three were definitely red carpet ready. Every year when I help them get ready Iget a little glimpse of what it will be like to help them when they are preparing for High School Dances. I started nails at 1, and then took a little break until a little after 3. By then it was time to start on all that hair and sure enough at 5:30 I was rushing to wrap it up. But they are only little for a short time, and soon they won't want my help, so I help while I can. I think they all looked beautiful.

They had so much fun at the event. I worked at the front desk taking tickets for a while and then I moved on to helping at the snack table. I told Mitch to make sure to get pics of the girls...he said Leah and Hattie would be easy, but he hadn't seen Bug all night. She was having a great time running around, dancing and playing with her friends. Hattie was cracking me up. She continued to drag every little friend that she knew over to me so I could get a picture of them together. Leah is growing up too fast. It's hard to say if she will even want to go next year. She was disappointed that not many of her friends were in attendance. The days are long but the years are short.
