What a great day for these gator girls!!! I had very little expectation for this weekend. It was our first time swimming a HUGE meet at IU Natatorium. But these girls came and left it all in the pool. Bug dropped 5 seconds in her 100 free, 2.5 seconds in her 50 back, 2.5 seconds in her 100 breast and she swam her first 100 fly...she was wiped out!!! Leah crushed it...amazing what proper chemical levels, pool temp and good air quality can do for a kid with asthma. She dropped 1 second in her 50 back, 1 second in her 100 breast, half a second in her 50 free and totally rocked her 100 fly dropping 11 seconds from her time set in October. It was awesome!!! But one of the highlights is always watching two swim buddies cheer each other on. Super proud of Eleanor for getting her state and regional time in the 200 free. She and Leah are always right there cheering each other on and pushing each other to go harder. You can see them at the pools edge cheering for one another. Makes my heart so happy...well done, ladies!
