Fellowship and Fun! That’s what the weekend looked like for the older two Schultz girls. My heart was so happy that they wanted to attend Camp Cilca (where I attended as a kid) with our Junior High church youth group. Kiersten’s friend Ella joined her and Eleanor tagged along with Leah. They were all smiles and didn’t stop talking the entire way home. They said next year they want to go for a whole week. Thankful that they had this opportunity to grow in God’s love with their friends.
Our youth director shared updates several times while they were gone. She said St. John's Lutheran Church Jr High Camp at Camp Cilca was Amazing! We ended the weekend by giving back with service, wacky olympics, watermelon wrestling,impromptu shaving cream fights, laughs, and a final prayer time. Gaga ball was a succees along with capture the flag and the kids really loved the hands free spaghetti and applesauce dinner.
