2020 is all Tricks...no Treats!

There were lots of questions and wondering...would Halloween happen this year? You can't cancel Halloween!!! We were fortunate that the Village of Mt. Zion moved forward with normal trick-or-treating hours. So while Covid is spiking in our area, and we questioned whether or not it was the right call, we went ahead and let the girls go out...with masks of course.

They started the day at swim with some super fun Halloween themed games in the pool. Bug had to hightail it after swim to the Sullivan's house. She swam with Bea at 11:30 and went to Bea's house at 1:30 for a socially distanced Halloween party outdoors. Bea and Ariel and Kiersten have become great friends swimming together so it's awesome to see them becoming friends outside of the pool, too. They had a little bonfire and played games, all with masks on. It's really not that hard!

I picked up Kiersten around 3:30 and at 4 Leah headed to the Short's for some fun with friends. They had a group costume planned. The jock, the nerd, the goth girl and the cheerleader. They had a lot of fun crusing around the neighborhood in the golf cart and then headed back to our house for a sleepover.

We passed out treats socially distanced style. I bagged up treats and all the ghouls and goblins could just grab one. The girls had fun watching and waving through the window! Happy Halloween, 2020.
