It finally happened, she got brave...and on Friday, July 12th she finally took those first steps. We knew they were coming. She's been RUNNING around the furniture for weeks. She started out small; 3-4 steps then back down. But in no time at all she was going a little further each time. And now there is no stopping her. Little sister is walking all over. She's even climbing stairs now too. Leah and Bug get so excited to watch her progress. They usually announce to Mitch and I when she is standing or taking steps.
On the 14th, we were at mom's for family dinner. Cynthia peeked around the corner and saw her taking some steps and freaked out. She thought we were missing the first ones. It was funny. At first she would only take a few steps and then go down for crawling because she realized it was much quicker but those days are done. I think she just likes all the positive attention she is getting. What a little ham. Love my sweet Hattiecakes!
