Myrtle Beach Boardwalk

Monday night we were ready to hit the town! First we checked out the Broadway Boardwalk and had dinner. We read that they had lots of activities in the evening but it was Monday and too early, so we didn't stay long. After dinner we headed to downtown Myrtle Beach. We walked around and checked it all out. And then we decided to give the Sky Wheel a whirl. Leah was terrified. It was almost comical, but after the first time around and a few deeps breaths she started to calm down. Kiersten and Hattie loved it, of course. The views were fantastic, especially since it was sunset. Afterwards we went for a walk on the beach. The tide was definitely low and we searched for more shells and sharks teeth. The girls were eating up all their time and attention with dad. After we wrapped up more time on the beach we decided that ice cream was in order. As we were driving back to the resort we passed a Dairy Queen and a Baskin Robbins but we wanted something a little more local. I put ice cream into my GPS and a place called Meyers popped up. When we got there the line was forever long. We knew we found a gem. They had SO MANY flavors available. We stood in line at least 15 minutes but it was so worth it. Spoiler alert...we went back on Wednesday night too!
