The theme of the day was fishing! Matt and Mitch took turns taking the kids out on the ranger. Hattie and Jackson fished together, Colby and Kiersten and lastly Macy and Leah. They each went out for about 2 hours. While they were rotating through sibling groups the others had fun off the dock. They’re giving the kayaks and paddle board plenty of attention and are jumping off the water trampoline left and right. It was muggy and hot in the morning but a small storm around lunch cooled it off and it ended up being a beautiful day. Kiersten is in the lead for biggest fish. Her large mouth bass was the biggest fish of the day. Mitch said she’s baiting her own hook and takes her fish off on her own. She loves the sport. Hattie has been the biggest surprise...she’s got the fishing bug, too.
