Indian Knoll

What a beautiful day…and we were so happy to spend it with this diverse group of girls, a few of their mothers and two of my wonderful friends. Vanessa and Valeria from Mrs. Abotts focus period joined us. More or less, Ellen and I were the only non-Spanish speakers. We loved showing them why the pumpkin patch is a treasured tradition here in the Fall. They painted pumpkins, and faces too. They sampled some treats and played games that included tether ball and checkers. They see-sawed, hopped in the swing and checked out the animals. What a way to kick-off October!
