Yesterday we went to Sullivan, to the Little Theater on the Square to see their production of The Jungle Book. I never know what to expect. Sometimes the story is a true rendition of the Disney version, and other times it's a far cry. This one was pretty true to the movie. The songs were the same, the characters were the same, but Mowgli was played by a girl. And in the end she ended up returning home to join a little sister.
It was a cute show, not really my favorite, but the kids enjoyed it. And of course when the show was done we had to get pictures. Colby and Kiersten didn't want any part of it this time...big surprise. But Macy and Leah were super excited to get their pictures taken with Mowgli and Baloo the Bear. Can't wait for the August show, 101 Dalmatians!
