Before we made our big move to Europe we told the girls to make a “bucket list” of the things they wanted to see and do. A Gondola ride on the Venice Canals was high on the list. So here we are making dreams come true. I was a bit nervous when we realized we’d be in Venice for Easter…but EVERYTHING was open and the city was hopping. We booked our gondola tour for Sunday, before we had even arrived. We lucked out with a really friendly guide. He hummed and whistled Italian tunes, told us about all the historic buildings and explained some details about living in Venice with the ins ands outs of the tides. We had a great time and are happy to be crossing it off our “list”.
