A few weeks back Mitch had to make the difficult decision in regards to Christmas with his family. Normally there are twenty of us together in one house...but covid. As it’s spreading like wild fire again, Mitch made the difficult call to not visit Minnesota for the holidays. But we still wanted to see Grandma Tootie and Grandpa Dave.
Enter Omaha! Yep, we decided to detour on our way home from Arizona North, while they ventured South. We met at a hotel in Omaha to enjoy each other’s company.
And honestly it ended up being a lovely visit. We reserved a suite so we’d have plenty of room. We ordered pizza and played games. We had plenty of time to catch up and we have sparkling cider to count down the new year. Not a bad way to celebrate. But we’re all ready to usher out 2020 and bring in 2021!!! Cheers to health and happiness in the New Year.
