I just love that my girls are adventurous eaters! After we checked out the sights in Peñíscola we had to get lunch. We stopped at Calabuch for lunch and it was fabulous. The menu was a little overwhelming with all the options…so many new things we’d never seen or heard of but we didn’t let that stop us. Bonus that it’s a tourist are and some of the menu was in English. And Mitch’s coworker who is Spanish, but speaks English was explaining everything to us. Mitch had octopus, Leah and I shared a seafood paella, Hattie had calamari, we all shared roasted vegetables and a plate of crazy shrimp, mussels, oysters, clams and sepia which is a squid. Kiersten even ordered the sepia as part of her meal. We’re definitely loving the seafood options here on the Mediterranean!
