Olympic Park

In the summer of 1992 I was a 14 year old girl working at my dads pizza restaurant, Jerry’s Pizza, in rural Illinois. In preparation for the summer Olympics my dad put a BIG screen TV at the pizza place as well as a Satellite dish that offered three Olympic channels…red, white and blue, to broadcast all things Olympics.

I think this is where my love of the Olympics began. The Barcelona Olympics site in  Parque de Montjuïc was a quick walk from the Castelle…we saw the stadium and the Olympic torch from almost 30 years ago! Hattie was excited to experience her first Coca-Cola (we are those parents) before we continued through the park.
