Father's Day 2013

Father's Day wasn't much of a celebration in our house this year. Mitch had to leave early in the morning for a work trip, but we still tried to make the most of it. We got up a little earlier than usual and had a quick breakfast before he had to hit the road. A few days before the girls and I were at the store and Leah picked out a very special Scooby-Doo (yes, Scooby Doo) card for him. She was so excited to write all their names in it. We also found this folding frame by Crayola that came with something called the magic mitt. We put the girls hands in it, and placed them on the paper and their handprints (or footprints in Hattie's case) appeared and there was no mess to clean up. I especially liked that part and it seemed like a great gift for Mitch because it would go nicely on his desk. We added one of our pictures from Brooke Boyer that had me and the girls and I think it turned out perfect! And of course we couldn't resist getting him a new Cardinals T-shirt. We know how much he LOVES the Cardinal's...smart Daddy!
