The First Tee

This week Leah started Junior Golf here in Decatur. The program is actually apart of the USGA National Program called the First Tee. They have lessons every Tuesday and Thursday morning and can go out and play the course on Wednesday mornings. My friend Tisha's son Mason is also in the program so Tisha and I have worked out a carpooling schedule. Plus, Leah and Mason like having a friend come along. While Leah and Mason are at golf, Kiersten and Tatum are having fun of their own playing together at the house...usually with Barbie.

Leah feels like such a big kid carrying her clubs that Gigi and Papa got her for her birthday last year. She has quickly attached to one of they younger women that works at the camp. Gabby just finished up her college career here at Millikin. Leah sticks pretty close to her, and she seems to be her new buddy.

The other day, I set Leah's club by the backdoor. While I was making dinner I could hear some banging around. Well, apparently Hattie is ready to play golf too. She had pulled all the clubs out of the bag and was having a good time with them...it must be in the genes.
