We made it to Budapest! And I can already tell it’s going to be a beautiful city. Our Airbnb host, Gabor has gotten us off on the right foot. He brought us Palinka and Meggy to start. He explained that in Hungary Palinka represents one foot and beer is the other. You take a shot of Palinka and then a beer for balance. He gave us lots of good recommendations for restaurants and sights to see. I feel like we’re off to a good start!
