It goes without saying that we love to try the local cuisine when we travel. And what’s better than Schnitzel?!?!
We were happy to try a few local joints for our dining experiences. Mitch and so enjoyed a few beers, too! At Cafe Aera near our apartment we asked the server what he recommended for a Pale Ale. He suggested something local and we said we’d take it. Then he said if we wanted to try the one he liked best it was from the Czech Republic…so we said we’d try that one too!
The girls loved (and Mitch and I too) trying out the Schnitzel, Austrian pancakes, and goulash. When researching things to do/try in Vienna I read about Pumpkin seed ice cream more than once from Eis-Gressler. We liked it so much we had it twice. We had some fabulous Swiss chocolates, too! Hattie has declared Schnitzel her new favorite food.
