Back in September when Mitch was reading about Valencia he noticed that the Holy Grail or Chalice was at a church in Valencia. We knew we had to take Gigi and Papa. We got up on Saturday and headed into the city.
The church was so beautiful. It had a nice museum attached as well with some of the oldest, largest books I’d ever seen. The artwork was amazing, and there were so many sculptures and statues. The pictures don’t do it justice. It was such a spiritual place. I enjoyed sitting and praying in the pews. I really wanted to hear the organ play. And as we were waking away we heard the hymns start to play…fantastic!
