When we visited Barcelona in October I really wanted to visit Mt. Tibidabo (any “Friends” fans out there, not for that reason) because I had seen reviews about the Temple of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the spectacular views you get of the city. Well Barcelona in October is a little more busy than December, but this time we reserved parking ahead of time.
It was still a bet of a trek up a hill to get to the church. And it was so very cold that day!!! Up on a Mountain the temps were probably in the 40’s but the wind was something else! Mitch and the girls went to the top of the church. They stood up next to Jesus but Gigi, Papa and I stayed on the top deck. The views were amazing of course…it did not disappoint. But next time I’ll say a little prayer for warmer temps.
