St. Vitus and Prague Castle

It was quite a hike up to Prague Castle but we made it. The views were amazing. I feel like I keep repeating myself, but Prague is known for their Gotchic steeples and they are just magnificent.

St. Vitus has quite a history. It’s the resting place of Saints Vitus, Wenceslas and Adalbert. It contains the tombs or many Holy Roman Emperors and Bohemian Kings. The church dates back to 930. At the entrance you could see the remnants of another church that dated back to the 800’s. The stained glass was so detailed. Truly a beautiful place. Around the corner we found the cutest little wood shop where we got Christmas ornament souvenirs and a quick stop for hot cocoa and coffee.
