Surprise!

For weeks, maybe even months I’d been telling Mitch I wanted to go to Germany for the Christmas markets. But we knew pretty early on that they were getting cancelled. Then I started hearing more and more people talking about Prague. It took quite a bit of convincing but two weeks before Christmas Mitch helped me make it happen.

We booked the tickets and started making all the plans for Christmas in Prague. I even ordered the girls boots, scarves and gloves to make sure we were prepared for the cold weather.

Somehow we kept it a secret. On Wednesday the 22nd we let the girls ditch school a few hours early and we convinced them we were just going into Valencia to look at Christmas lights and maybe do some ice skating. They loved that idea! Imagine their surprise when we pulled into the airport.

We had a great AirBnb in the heart of the tourist area. Seriously, the location couldn’t have been better. It literally took us two minutes to get to Old Town Hall and the Tyn Church. Making magical memories this Christmas!
